The “Contains Paid Content” marker refers to a sponsor message from Portrait Display’s discussing Calibration as a Service or CASS. It has nothing to do with the review of the LG G6 or its assessment, which is completely independent.
AVForums Editor Phil Hinton reviews the 2026 LG G6 OLED Evo TV and provides a deep dive into how this new LG OLED TV compares to the outgoing LG G5 from 2025. The G6 has improved its picture quality thanks to the new Alpha 11 Gen 3 Processor, which reduces posterisation, gradation, and overshoot artefacts. It also introduces 12-bit colour and 13-bit Luma processing that further enhances the picture capabilities and brightness.

Nice review.
I don’t know what to do I’m in a bit of a dilemma I was about to order the G5 77” OLED this week from Curry’s and I’ve already got the separate stand at home that I ordered from LG In Germany as LG don’t have an official store / website in Ireland and the stand has been effectively discontinued… do you know if the LG ST-G4WR8377 Stand is going to be compatible with the G6 as I’m aware it’s compatible with the G4 & G5 models? Do you also have any indication as to when the G6 models will be available to order from retailers throughout the UK & Ireland thank you. 😊
I am waiting for the Phillips 951+ with dolby vision 2 max. Why have LG left it off.
The remote is hideous for a flagship tv.
You didnt mention if the oversharpening and extreme grain has been fixed over the g5. Also, why dont you ever engage with the community on the avforums posts that you create ?
