Best Budget Phones (Winter 2025) | Top 10 Reviewed

Reviewing the best budget 2025 smartphones in the UK for an approximate cost of £300 or under, from Poco, Xiaomi, Nothing, OnePlus, Motorola and more. Here’s a mini review of each of my top ten favourite budget phones, and please subscribe for more unboxing and review videos with low-cost blowers!

First up, the Nothing Phone 3a is an absolute bargain if you have a limited pot, but want a fully-fledged smartphone. This literally flashy smartphone serves up a flexible camera (with zoom lens) and slick gaming performance for the price. Battery life is good and the overall experience gets a thumbs up. On a stricter budget, you could also try the Phone 3A Lite, or CMF Phone 2 Pro.

Otherwise, cheap phone shoppers should check out the OnePlus Nord CE5. As with the Nothing Phone 3A, you have a feature-packed but enjoyable software experience. The screen is another cracker (even in the rain) and you get some decent specs overall, although the Nord CE5 isn’t perfect.

Many of these best budget smartphones in 2025 can run games like Genshin Impact (albeit on low graphics) or at least Call of Duty and PubG. Most of them, including the Poco X7 Pro and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, also offer long battery life. And if you’re tempted by a more stock Android phone experience, check out Motorola’s G56 5G. Moto even offers a £100 option in the G06 Power which has some of the best batery life of any mobile, budget or otherwise.
