my back just started hurting watching this in a gaming chair
ergonomic office chairs are kind of a lie, they support your spine, not comfort, a good gaming chair can offer comfort for hours of sitting, these kind of office chair are only good when sitting in an office enviroment.
I’ve been playing PC in an office chair and I can admit it’s made me a sweat. It just works.
I have had a secret lab omega chair for scout about 6 years. This video mentioned cheap cushion as lumber support but I’d say the best thing about the chair is the memory foam lumber cushion. Also he said in the video these cushions push you too far forwards. For me it’s the opposite. If I remove the cushion I can’t reach the back of the seat. They are very deep.
These chairs are by no means perfect. They are so heavy I can’t lift it. Which caused back ache when I moved house. No one talks about that. Also the parts that cradle you, on the sides, not a fan. If I’m absorbed into a game sometimes I end up at an angle with the back side of my ribs pushed against the cradle. I only become aware when it starts to cause pain. Then it takes an hour of mindful sitting position to correct.
Also I’m here because I’m thinking of replacing the chair with an office chair. As one of the rollers have bent, when I managed to push the chair over once. Remember how I said they were heavy? Well I contacted secret lab, and they sent me a video on how to remove the roller, but mine is too bent, and so I would have to buy the replacement for the entire base, and I just thought, I’ve had enough of this giant heavy weight with painful craddles. Though I didn’t know that term for chairs until now.
Good chair but get an office chair.
