  1. true when it comes to American, Korean, and Japanese junk. Not true for Porsche, BMW, Bentley, Audi, etc.

  2. you need an extended warranty for any vehicle that was built since 2020 and beyond. There is something called planned obsolecence. The car is only made to last a few years and they want you trading the car in every 3 to 4 years, not keeping it for 10 plus years. The auto manufacturers do not make money trying to squeeze all the use out of the car. Especially with the advent of CVT transmissions on the vehicles.

  3. bro, I got like 10 K and repairs on a 3K warranty so that junk was worth it. You have to make sure that you keep all documentation though and make sure that you don’t misuse it and if you do miss us, you need to make sure you cover all evidence.

  4. I normally agree but not for some of the high tech in cars today. Those endless sensors and large screens cost a small fortune to replace. Sure, it may be unlikely but a single repair could pay for all or half of it. Most have some “free” service too. But for a regular good quality car (Civic, Corolla), no need. However, negotiate it down for sure. It is probably twice as expensive as it should be.
